Why CV Maker matters

CV Maker gives CVoria a real starting point for people who do not already have a finished CV. Users can now build the document first, then analyze it, improve it, export it, and use it across the rest of the platform.

That changes the product from a tool that reacts to an uploaded CV into a workspace that can help from the first blank page. It is especially useful for students, early-career applicants, career switchers, and anyone whose current CV is too old or messy to be worth repairing.

The goal is simple: make it easier to create a professional CV without forcing users into a generic template editor or a disconnected document workflow.

What makes it different

The builder is visual from the start. Users choose a template, fill in focused sections, and see the PDF preview update while they write. This makes the result easier to judge than a form-only CV builder where the document appears at the end.

Templates are localized for English and Swedish, with translated preview content and names that fit the selected language. The editor also adapts to the current template, so controls for quotes, project icons, project images, skill numbers, and photo treatments only appear when they affect the actual CV.

That is important because CV tools often feel cluttered. CV Maker is designed to keep the editing surface tied to the document, so users understand what each choice changes.

What shipped in this release

The first release includes a guided creation flow, template selection, live PDF preview, section editing, accent colors, profile photo support where templates allow it, project details, skills, education, experience, and optional sections such as languages, certifications, awards, publications, and presentations.

Users can reorder supported sections, pick quote options in templates that include quotes, crop project images for the selected template, and export the final result as a PDF.

The created CV can also be set as the active CV. That means CVoria can use it as context when generating cover letters, matching jobs, preparing interviews, and running analysis.

Free to build and export

CV Maker is included in the free plan. Users can create a CV, customize the style, preview the result, and export a PDF without upgrading first.

That decision is intentional. The people who need the most help with their CV should not hit a paywall before they have even created one.

Premium features can still support deeper analysis and advanced workflows, but the foundation of the job search should be accessible immediately.

Where it goes next

This launch is the foundation for a fuller CV workspace. Next, we are working on more templates, faster editing, import options for existing CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and GitHub projects, plus smoother transitions from CV creation into analysis and job-specific workflows.

The principle stays the same: a CV should look professional, but it should also communicate real experience clearly. The builder is there to help users make that happen without losing control of their own story.
